Well, Daylight saving ended last night, so the cooler weather is on its way here...but a couple of months of beautiful Autumn weather yet. I think Autumn is the loveliest time of year here ....sunny days...cool nights...perfect weather.
With Easter coming up this coming weekend also, a quiet 2 weeks coming up in terms of Auctions, and there will be no Auction Watch here next week because of the 4 day break and no major auctions the following week.
It was a bit hard to find any pottery worth buying this week - but but I did manage to find a few other interesting things:
A nice set of English Picquotware - read all about it HERE
I love the design of this stuff - especially the wooden handles |
Royal Copenhagen mugs - while not worth a lot they still attract a lot of interest - I find most
that I sell go to Japanese buyers.
| A few nice heavy glass vases including Holmegaard. |
| Not Vintage - but this dragonfly would look FANTASTIC on the garden wall! |
There are a number of these original late 19th Century stained glass windows
coming up tomorrow night - I would love to have an old house to put them in |
| and finally, quite an interesting Gouda vase |
