Auction Watch 15.2012

A bit of a quieter week on the Auction front this week due to the public holiday last week on Wednesday (Anzac day) here in Australia, which meant the Auction houses had less time to get things together for the coming week.

It took a while to find anything much - but a few things are to be found as always - if the price is right...nothing that I'm desperate to get though.

The Kilncraft Bacchus setting is quite large, and seems to be ever popular. I would love to have one in the lighter cream colour though...have only ever seen photos of it. The multi coloured West German vase is quite bizarrely attractive too.

Kilncraft - Bacchus - large setting - around $50 mark.

A lovely "Electric Blue" Vase from Denby c 1920
Usually around $50

Royal Copenhagen Quaking Grass setting - $50-$100

Very unusual West German Vase
Another West German Vase - Looks to be from the 1980's going by the design

I quite like this very decorative pattern on a Noritake fruit setting

Everyone loves  a "Granny Blanket"
