Its been a while since I have featured an Artist or Graphic Designer on the blog, so I'm pleased to share today the work of
Amanda Shufflebotham. Amanda is a freelance graphic designer with over 20 years experience, living in Wales in the U.K. - who is inspired by Retro and Mid-Century pottery - especially of the British varieties such as Hornsea and Portmerion. She has really captured the "essence" of this style of pottery.
Her style really suits the bold graphic shapes of many of the designs and motifs of this era, as you can see below. Amanda's style also really suits the typography and many of the motifs from the mid-century. Her Owl print in the last image is a real standout, and I love the colours and design of "Time for Tea".
Amanda has a great little store on Etsy called
Graffik Heart where all the images below are available. Just adorable. So many talented people out there!
