I wouldn't have recognised this Black and White piece as Soholm if it weren't for the stamp underneath.It was in a group lot I purchased 2 weeks ago. It is a Soholm design that I have never seen before. Elegant and simple. It is not that large - about 18cm x 10cm. I would guess from the 1950's - maybe a bit later. It has that real retro feel about it.
Update: 19.01.13 - I should have looked a bit closer - there is a faint RN on the base, and thank you to Birgitte of The Little Black House, it is a piece by Rigmor Nielsen who worked at Søholm 1940-1989. She was one of the few decoration painters who also designed decorations.

This is shape number 2074 from the Sandvig 1 series. I have had one of the large blue bowls from Sandvig 2 at some stage too from memory.
