Auction Watch 20.2012

There are so many Danish and Retro goodies this week it is going to be hard to know which to bid on, but I will have to be content with just a few - as that's about all I can afford to buy... unless they go for low prices, which is very unlikely.

There are about 40 lots of Royal Copenhagen Fajance wares, some in small groups - and some larger single pieces....many of which (like the soup tureen and platter) I have seen in pictures, but never in real life. Most of the pieces pictured are estimated at around the $100 mark, the soup tureen probably $150.

And then.......

I've always wanted one of these bonkers looking Soholm Birds -
so much appeal - like a pet without having
to look after it!
OMG! Dybdahl - I haven't found any for ages and ages. This piece has one of the
best patterns I have ever seen - such a pity though there is a chip on the handle.

This is such a beautifully hand made and designed piece - but no one as
yet knows who made it (except that it is Danish)
A very cute looking decanter Boda "People" in Green by Eric Holgvnd
A "homemaker" cake plate, original. Will go for around $150 no doubt.
I love this 1970's solid teak Hi Fi cabinet - I just wish I had the skill and time
to "renovate"and retro-fit it - would make an amazing piece of furniture
and such a bargain at around $150!

TRETCHIKOFF print - The Three Penny Whistlers - a bit yellowed around the edges
but still a very impressive piece.
