Auction Watch 23.2012

A really varied and interesting amount of vintage, retro and Danish pottery coming up this week....There are quite a few auctions happening, including one I have one eye on as I am writing this post.  I will only have time to get to 1 or 2 of them and these are some of the things I will try and get if the price is right:

2 quite nice pieces of Bitossi

The photo doesn't really do Justice to these bright West German pieces. The 2 oranges ones make
a great matching pair.
Aww. Very cute Bitossi Bird.

OH yes! Some nice pieces of Rorstrand cookware amongst this group lot!

Not really my thing, but they are beautifully painted. B&G Mugs.

A Royal Copenhagen BACA design I haven't come across before.

.....and a few more. For some reason the medium sized square bowls always
take longer to sell than any other size.

I have had this set of 6 fish ramekins with a large serving fish before - I think they're great!
(Made by Diana Australia 1950's - sometimes stamped sometimes not)

Love the shape and size of this Poole Delphis piece
A nice collection of Holmegaard bowls, vases etc.

Yes please!, Kronjyden Nissen "relief" part tea set - I have quite a few "orphaned"pieces waiting
to be paired up again.

  1. So many things I love here. The Bitossi firstly and then the Nissen tea set. I'd quite love a tea pot and sugar bowl. Sigh.

    1. Yes, they're my top ones too. I think the Nissen range of this design in all its colours, would have to be one of the top designs of the 20th Century...still very sought after too. Fingers crossed. :)
