Murano Magic

Well, I wasn't that successful with yesterday's auctions - I missed out on the Midwinter Sienna as the price was too high I thought - I dropped out at $160 for the coffee set.

However, I did manage to pick up this piece of mid-century magic from Murano, Italy. I just love the glass from the 1950's and 1960's from Murano - especially in these subtle blues with just a hint of amber.

A lovely centre piece - but its going straight into the eBay store so I am tempted not to keep it too long.

    1. It sure does...looks like a splash of water caught on high speed film, just fascinating to study.
