It is called Hazelwood and was designed by Glynn Colledge in the mid 1950's. It has a rustic appearance with hand painted blackberry coloured stripes and/or free form patterns depending on the piece.
It is a wax resist pattern which is a technique I love - and I think this is the first time I have seen wax resist used as a technique other than on studio pottery. It has that really "English Studio Pottery" feel about it - and if it wasn't for the stamp you would think it was a studio piece.

Love this. It reminds me of mudcloth patterns. So beautiful.
