See comment below from Birgitte - It is a piece by Jette Helleroe who's signature I didnt recognise at first, but on checking it is an exact match. I already have a piece by but didnt think to check!

WOW! I just noticed while drafting this, that for this month there will have been over 30,000 views of this site. Hi Ray.....I´m 99,9 % sure that it is Jette Hellerøe. The signature look like hers and the style as well. I have similar candle holder in my shop which she made for Axella Design. She worked for both Axella Design and BR Pottery as well as she had her own studio in the northern part of Jutland, Denmark.......Birgitte
ReplyDeleteOf course! Thanks Birgitte, I should have known, as I have a lovely jug by Jette, so I just checked and the signature is the same, dont know why I didnt do that first :) I need a better inventory system I think!
