Danish Studio Candlestick - Jette Helleroe

I've been having a big tidy up and sort through items in my photo "queue" today, and during the process I "discovered" this lovely studio piece with a lovely stamped pattern and wonderful complex glaze and colouring. Looks like a 1960s piece to me...but a bit hard to know.

See comment below from Birgitte - It is a piece by Jette Helleroe who's signature I didnt recognise at first, but on checking it is an exact match. I already have a piece by but didnt think to check!

See my other post with work from Jette HERE

WOW! I just noticed while drafting this, that for this month there will have been over 30,000 views of this site. An all time record....That's simply AMAZING, thank you all so much - and thank you to all those who contribute the wealth of information that RPN is now becoming, and for helping me with researching all these items. Ray :)

  1. Hi Ray.....I´m 99,9 % sure that it is Jette Hellerøe. The signature look like hers and the style as well. I have similar candle holder in my shop which she made for Axella Design. She worked for both Axella Design and BR Pottery as well as she had her own studio in the northern part of Jutland, Denmark.......Birgitte
