This was an unexpected find at auction yesterday. It is a beautiful Soholm wall plaque by Svend Aage Jensen who worked with Soholm from 1944-1980. This lovely daisy or everlasting flower design is one I haven't seen before. It is a beautifully finished design - looks like it is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s when this type of motif was very popular.
It's a very large piece too - 703mm x 150mm, but just managed to fit it into a photo...albeit a touch blurry!

I was obsessed with daisies and the color blue in 1968 when I was a newlywed and first set up housekeeping. I painted a dining set blue and painted daisies on the back of the chairs. I would have killed for this piece back then! So pretty!
