Carmel Gem

I've been running behind this week as I knew would happen because of the public holiday on Monday, hence the lack of posts. I have only just started sorting through, unpacking and cleaning my auction purchases which mainly consists of Lotte this week.

Before I get to Lotte though, I have been meaning to photograph these two lovely pieces for a while though so I can add them to my growing Carmel/Gem collection.

They are two of the loveliest studio pieces I have found to date by Gemma from the Carmelite Pottery c1970 - both superbly decorated with subtle oxide colouring and incised designs.
